@cops.cam.usa6: Part 4: Drunk Mother Arrested While Her 2-Month-Old Baby is at Home: On May 18, 2025, Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputy Olivas observed a vehicle cross the center line and drive in the opposing lane of traffic. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 36-year-old woman. The woman initially denied consuming alcohol, but based on her driving, Deputy Olivas asked her to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was eventually arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor. Her charge was elevated to Aggravated when she refused breath alcohol testing. She had some choice words for Deputy Olivas when she found out she would not be going home to her 2-month-old baby.
