Cheese Whiz was made by Kraft as a quick shortcut for the hot cheesy topping for Welsh rarebit and originally targeted to their British market so I find his inclusion of that especially hilarious

Linguistically speaking, pronouncing taco as American “TAH-koh” (/ˈtɑ.koʊ/) sounds much closer to the Spanish way of saying it than British “TAE-koh” (/ˈtæ.kəʊ/) ever will. That’s because the “ah” sound (/ɑ/) in TAH-koh matches the open, relaxed sound of the Spanish a, while the “ae” sound (/æ/) in TAE-koh is tighter and more fronted. It makes the word sound off, almost like an e. So if you say taco with the same vowel sound in “cat” (/æ/), Spanish speakers might hear something like “teco,” but if you say it with the vowel sound in “father” (/ɑ/), it sounds like a closer approximation for Spanish taco /ˈta.ko/.

Thank you! Every country has their traditional dishes. There are Lots of American dishes in the south that most people would call strange! Like it’s just food, if you enjoy it then eat it! people need to stop icking someone else’s yum!
