That Gamefisher 3 hp was made by Tanaka in Japan. Simple design, lightweight, air cooled outboard with a centrifugal clutch drive for the prop. They made them in 1.75hp up to 3hp under the Tanaka name, Gamefisher name for Sears and several other brand names as well.

I brought this sucker back to life this past week. Had to get a new condenser, set the points, clean the carb, the spark plug was stripped so I put a helicoil in, and the recoil spring was all tangled up that was hard to fix.. She starts first pull now 😁😁😁
