I don’t think people understand how pettiness is a massive green flag in a marriage. Like I’ll say “I have so much laundry to do” and he will say “don’t do mine I’ll do it”. The farthest he will get with his laundry is bringing it to the laundry room. Then he’s upset because he has no clean clothes for work tomorrow and stressed out because he has to do it because he said he would. I do it for him because I know he’s not capable of inserting this task into his everyday routine, so I win. When it’s done he mutters “thank you” which is a declaration of defeat. We will have been together 18 years this November.

There's a thing called solar bit flip that causes these kinda oddities. Don't blame him. Happens in my house all the time too :)
