It’s not GPS. He’s using a sonic sensor which reads the elevation of the curb and holds whatever grade or depth he’s got programmed below what it’s reading through the hydraulic system it’s electronically connected to.

Good job, it takes a good operator to understand how to use gps and operate machine efficiently, nothing wrong with gps, it saves a lot of time and keeps people off the ground

He’s using a sonic tracer, and he is either running 2D cross slope or sonic tracer plus 3D cross slope. Beautiful job brother 👍🏼

our good operator can do it without GPS we don't have GPS but our bad operator would have the laborers shoveling off the curbs cause he buried them.

His blade does what the curb does.. pretty much gps without gps. Curb gutter goes down… blade goes down same thing with up
