Hotels should have made it mandatory for guests to leave way before this storm make landfall. So unfair to the hotel workers

The worst thing about all this is that the storm is so big and powerful due to climate change resulting from companies that don’t have to deal with this damage. Islands have to deal with increasing threat of storms and hurricanes, and it isn’t even their fault

listen I'm from St Lucia and I've experienced a cat 3 hurricane and that was so devastating that it set the island back decades. I'm praying for the people of Jamaica but this is going to be catastrophic
