@ankamaryjka2: I just want to start by saying how incredibly grateful I am for all the support I receive every single day — for every kind word, every donation, every bit of advice and encouragement that helps me get through this journey. It means the world to me, and I truly wouldn’t be standing without all of you. I feel it’s time to give you an update on my divorce and the financial settlement. Sadly, there’s still no progress — no decisions, no movement, no real answers. As much as I’d like to say no news is good news, in this case, it just means that nothing has changed. Right now, I’m stuck. I can’t sell, buy, or even remortgage my own home because the bank is asking for a 35% deposit — something completely out of reach for me. If we sell the house, we’ll have nowhere to go. I simply don’t earn enough to rent a place that could accommodate the four of us, and that’s a reality that keeps me awake at night. A few weeks ago, I sent a full update to my solicitor, who then passed it on to my ex-partner’s lawyer. Since then, there has been no response. All I have asked is for a fair and realistic proposal that takes our children’s wellbeing into account. Sadly, it feels as though the only concern on his side is selling the house so he can move on and buy a new place, with little regard for what happens to us. It’s heartbreaking to feel so powerless, to watch things drag on while trying to hold everything together for the children. But I keep going, because of them — and because of all of you who remind me that I’m not alone in this.
