My mom pulled into the cemetery apparently too fast, and the guy at the gate went, “WHOA. Whoever it is, he’s already dead, you don’t have to rush” and it was so surreal we were in stitches 😂

At my cousins funeral my mama put his favorite chocolate in his shirt pocket. My cousin, who was a known thief, laid on him screaming and crying and my mama said “if his candy is gone I’m gonna whoop her ass”.

When my grandpa died my whole family got really into breaking Amish we couldn’t stop watching it before viewing his body and after I just remember whispering in sisters ear how excited I was to watch more

My stepdad (raised me for like 25 of my 26 years on this earth) died in April from an overdose after a lifetime of drug use and 15 minutes after my mum sat us down to tell us, my brother (his biological son) goes “well at least he died doing what he loved” and we cry laughed for like an hour
