Pretty much every flower is toxic. I learnt the hard way too! I’m pretty sure the only ones that are okay are Roses, Sunflowers and Orchids, maybe a few more x

As a cat owner, I have to say this — you really shouldn’t keep any kind of plants at home. Whenever I get flowers as a gift, I never bring them into my house. God forbid one of my cats gets poisoned by them — I could never live with that guilt.

Anything that we wouldn’t usually get ourselves gets immediately googled for toxicity. It could be anything from a household cleaner to a houseplant. If it could be toxic it ain’t coming in the house.

My mum gets Lillie’s I know they are toxic to my boy now I didn’t before, but for some reason he seems to know not to go near them he’ll sit on the sofa looking at them walk over look some more and then remove himself and for the whole time those Lillie’s are there he’ll look at them and keep walking like he knows it can hurt him and is aware but doesn’t mind

My cat has done this before n I just realised why his mouth was yellow with this post, thankfully he was okay tho? I am now wondering if this could have been an allergic reaction. This was months and months ago

I’m so glad your baby is okay ❤️we have zero flowers, zero candles and zero scented diffusers etc in our house. I just couldn’t deal with the worry. Amazing job ❤️❤

This is why fake flowers are better, imo. They last forever, your cats don’t typically try to eat them, and they’re non poisonous,

This happened to me as well, two of my babies got into them and were stained orange. 3K later and two days at the animal hospital and they are okay. My lilies were a gift too. 💜
