People keep proving the quote’s point by reducing it to “cockroaches are dirty.” That’s exactly how dehumanization works. You label what’s ugly or uncomfortable as less than you, and then you stop caring what happens to it. Look around, that same mindset is everywhere right now.

OK message but wrong example examples because the reason we kill cockroaches is because they carry diseases if we let them run rampant, they’ll eat our food and get us sick well butterflies genuinely help keep the Earth alive by spreading pollen they are helpful creatures and cause no harm to us well cockroaches can cause harm to us and eat our food
