The fear of lacking comfort creates boundaries and prevents us from seeing the endless number of beautiful and interesting places. I always call myself a traveler, not a tourist. Because I'm interested in getting to know a country through its culture, cuisine, and local people. And the best way to do this is on the streets, not in a hotel room, no matter how beautiful it is. My family and I always start exploring a country at the local market and street food stalls. Often, they don't even have a proper building—just street food stands where you eat standing up or sitting on a curb. And you know, it's always been incredibly tasty, noisy, fun, and soulful 😌 Our flight system deserves special mention. Contrary to popular belief, I always take indirect flights—it allows me to spend a whole day in a completely new country. And in Europe, by the way, there's a pattern: flying business class isn't just unfashionable, it's often impossible. Most airlines simply don't offer it. "To walk farther, carry less." I love this phrase. I've set off on many of my travels with just one backpack. On one such light trip, we explored all of Latin America with just a few t-shirts and shorts. And it didn't stop us from genuinely enjoying the journey 🧳 Of course, there are locations that seem made for beautiful, aesthetic vacations. But having visited over 60 countries, I can confidently say that the joy of a trip rarely depends on the clothes you wore or your seat on the plane.
