Being black and south East Asian I’ve experienced this a lot. People don’t believe darker skin is desirable. I’ve only ever had one white friend, never again. Had a few Asian friends, nope. Even Hispanic girls.. they still weird towards darker skin

Yes very true — my friend and I were at a grocery store and this man just kept talking about how he loved my skin complexion and beauty etc etc and she a light skin black woman with blue eyes blonde hair and she was so enraged she started talking badly about him even after we left the grocery store — mind u he was nvr disrespectful
