@palaciosophy: I get it, it’s incredibly easy (and satisfying) to blame the dating scene for the lack of real connection. But the real, *real* culprit is perpetual self abandonment in order to keep the narratives/connections going. This looks like excusing people’s inconsistencies, lack of presence, being hot and cold, chemistry over connection, their “potential”, the list goes on.
