I’ve been posting about Randall Gamboa and people keep comparing it to Otto Warmbier. HECK NO! DPRK treated Warmbier so much better. Gamboa had 50+ bedsores after TWO months. Warmbier had none after SEVENTEEN months.

I get that the US is responsible for much of their current political state & we’re also propagandized against them. But you’re out here willy nilly “it’s really not that bad. I mean, they tried to help & didn’t need to send him back. He was a prisoner after all.” Excuse me, what?

Hey I would like too learn more about this topic such as: 1. why are there so many North korean refugees who talk about the living conditions in North Korea who’s experience aligns with the alleged propaganda 2. Why can’t people leave? Because I know that South Korea have a law that any north korean refugee who is in South Korea can get a citizenship so it seems like at least South Korea is ok with North Koreans but is there some other reason why the borders are locked? 3. Are ALL of and I mean all of the weird laws propaganda? Like for example is it also propaganda that you aren’t allowed to bring in any religious texts or any form of smack talk about the government in if you are visiting? I’m sorry if this sounds snarky but I’m genuinely interested in this topic and I want to know if you’re saying that North Korea is this kommunist safe haven (and if so I’d still wanna hear why that is) or if it’s just that it’s generally better than what the propaganda and why that is

Unrelated, but I went to China last week and went to a DPRK state-run restaurant in Beijing! Super cool, all the workers were North Korean, and food was so good. Got some tea made in the DPRK and brought it back to LA!

it's crazy when you objectively look at both sides of the story. all facts considered your correct, they should have allowed an autopsy. would have irrefutably solved the situation they probably didn't allow it so that The narrative of torture could be played all things considered North Korea is doing just the best they can with what they've been given and we had no business there in the first place just like 9/10 of all the like military responses we've offered to the world

you have good heath care but expensive, I am from Panama, and politians, and even the president have traveled to USA for cancer treatment and many other stuff. In panama we have cheap health care but not much resources.

i don’t think the U.S. would want North Korea to advance; the U.S. would see them as a threat, same way that the U.S. still controls South Korea (something we don’t talk about enough).

North Korea certainly proved more humane to their prisoners in this instance than we are to our own prisoners, our own prisoners frequently have to wait to be seen at a prison infirmary and the system determines their medical care
