Somali is also a tonal language meaning the whole meaning of a word can change depending on the tone. For example: Qaado can both mean spoon or "take it" depending on the tone you use.

My father was Somali poet (R.i.p) and writer he wrote a lot of books about Somali language and how unique it is, he also used to recite poems about the country.His books 📚 are still with us🥰i sometimes read to understand the deeper meaning of the language.
