Your doing good for just starting out but you need to shift around 2500 or 3000 or if you keep shifting like you are still go into the next gear say your doing 45 sift from 4th to 5th so your not putting to much pressure on 4th or shift by 10 mph say your doing 25 be in 3rd at least on slower speed streets when on the high way or if your on a road that’s 55 it’s fine to shift that way but still want to be in 5th after you get to 55. Need to get a 6th speed next. Also take off slow at first an find your grab point on your clutch when your find where your grab point is you’ll be smooth sailing from there. Also when your shifting from gear to gear be around 1500 rpm’s a slow the release of the clutch. Just keep up the hard work and learn the clutch is replaceable

What’s you get the hang of the clutch and pattern refer to the owners manual for shift points for better mpg and engine life (not horrible for engine but can be when cold).

Doing great! Next learn your hill starts. Go to an empty parking garage and stop on an up incline. Then work on starting. That will help get your clutch work down and prevent an accident if you are on a steep hill with someone close to your bumper
