This is based off one of the short stories in “The Bloody Chamber” by Angela Carter. Which is full of retelling of other fairy tales. Also I remember first seeing PushingUpRoses video on this.

can you PLEASE watch terry Gilliams 1977 film jabberwocky, it's an incredible film with amazing set design costumes and humor that I rarley see talked about. it's a sort of "spiritual successor" to monty pythons holy grail which I think partially over shadows it. not really yo do with this video but cool nonetheless
