I always say Charleston and Savannah are fraternal twin sisters raised in an upper middle class, two parent home. Charleston is the sister that got married to a nice businessman and raised two kids and a Golden doodle. Savannah is the wilder, bisexual sister who remembers her table manners but has tattoos and a funky haircut. Both are fantastic and have the same roots, but they plan very different vacations.

we go to Charleston every year as a family. Hubby and I go by ourselves once a year. LOVE Charleston 💜... we live in GA so Savannah isn't that far. you have to go to the mountains in the fall! Blue ridge or Elijah.

Charleston by a long shot. Savannah’s Riverfront is great for younger crowd. Charleston is one of the top Foody destinations in the US and much better for raising a family

When you going to check out the hidden jem of SC? The Upstate? Greenville is 3-4 hours from the beach 1-2 hours from the mountains. Great restaurants, entertainment, fairly affordable.
