This is a clear pattern. We need to create an alert system for when this behavior begins. “Teacher X has spent y time with student. Be on alert”. It’s not a perfect system, but there is currently no system.

In addition- are there mental health checks for these teachers? Personality tests? I think a personality test could recognize the low self esteem characterized by many teacher predators
