They don’t have to be single moms, they can just have a busy husband. My husbands mom had to be spoken to like IMMEDIATELY about it when he and I got together cuz she told me “I stole her baby”. She’s since really changed and apologized and said she respected me for protecting him even from his own mother. I don’t think they always want to be in that position, or know they are until someone tells them the behavior isn’t right

the "pipeline" is generational abuse and systemic patriarchal oppression, many single mothers are young parents or come out of abusive relationships that made those children in the first place. either way the foundation for an emotionally immature household is built off that and only gets worse without outside help. actually co-parenting and childcare outside the home needs to be introduced or else nothings gonna change, one person cant provide, care, raise, AND make it healthy all at once esp when its multiple kids
