Colby is exactly right- If ever there was a time where I didn’t know where my child was, I’d either be dead or in a coma myself. Never, ever, EVER in my life, would I be upright and breathing and not know exactly where my babies are. That mom knows. They always know.

I didn’t know where my youngest was for 45 minutes when they were 12. I didn’t know where they were for 15 minutes before I got in my car and drove the 30 minutes home from work because I was so freaked out that something might have happened during the 1/4 mile walk from the bus stop to our front door. I flew out of the office and lo and behold, my child was fast asleep on the couch and didn’t hear their phone. It was a very stressful 45 minutes. I laughed and cried so hard just to lay eyes on them asleep! I cannot wrap my head around these parents who have no idea where their children are. 🥺

My children are 33, 29, 22 and 20... I know where my children are at almost all times. My oldest son went on a 4 day work training where there was very limited cell service this summer and forgot to tell us before he went. I was on the phone with his friends, coworkers, and almost going ballistic until he finally called and apologized for forgetting and for worrying me. I travel back and forth to AZ many times throughout the year but my kids also always know how to reach me and where I am. Never when they were small was there a time when I didn't know where my child was.

I had a man walk into my work and have me put the family tracker on his daughter’s phones. Because he wanted to make sure they were safe at all times. They were 15-17
