Here’s how I used it to isolate my subject directly inside Premiere (without even touching After Effects 😉). Step 01: Grab the Object Mask Tool and draw a quick selection. Premiere automatically detects your subject. I tested it with multiple clips and it worked surprisingly well! Step 02: Refine the mask by drawing to add areas or holding Alt / Option to remove what you don’t need. Step 03: Let Premiere Pro track the mask in both directions and move it to the Opacity panel - background gone! Step 04: Duplicate your clip, remove the mask on the lower layer, and add text in between for the text-behind-object effect. Step 05: Crop for that viral letterbox look. All done directly in Premiere Pro - no manual rotoscoping needed.
