I know that they ended up tipping well but still… I don’t like that conversation. If you’re gonna tip 50%, tip it without making your waitress dance for it. It gave me the ick. I’m in the UK though so our tipping culture is different.

my brother is a bartender & a guy did this to him once. he said $100 & he left my brother $100. usually if someone asks you, just say a number & they’ll usually leave it🤣

If a customer asks that, it's a trick question. ALWAYS state something really high, giggle and walk away. the few times I tried to be polite, they literally tipped the 10% I suggested after being put on the spot. after that, I just threw out, "Two hundred, easy! Especially if I'm the best!" Then leave them all shocked. BEST PART, they don't leave me 4$ on a 50$+ bill
