Most global DNA databases include only a very small portion of African genetic information, with less than 2% of the data coming from people of African descent. The vast majority of samples are from people of European ancestry(86%). Because of this, there’s a real chance that DNA segments coming from African origins get mislabeled as European or another non-African group. This happens because the technology and reference data behind ancestry tests are mostly built on European samples, so unique African genetic patterns may go unrecognized. This leads to situations where ancestry results show too much European ancestry for people with African roots, simply because the rare African patterns don’t match anything in the system. Sometimes, DNA shared between Africans and Eurasians from ancient migrations is credited to Europe, just because that’s where it appears in the existing database. To clear up these mistakes and get more accurate ancestry results, much more African genetic data needs to be collected and studied. Until that happens, anyone with African heritage might get incomplete or even inaccurate ancestry reports, with some so-called “European” segments actually tracing back to African origins that aren’t properly documented yet.

Haplogroup L3, an East African maternal lineage, is a crucial part of human migration history, as it gave rise to the M and N macrohaplogroups that populated the rest of the world. Therefore, L3 maps show its high frequency in sub-Saharan Africa, especially the Horn of Africa, and its spread to the Arabian Peninsula and other parts of the Middle East. The distribution map would show L3's presence both within Africa and as the origin for all non-African lineages, with some branches remaining specific to Africa and others migrating out. Haplogroup L3 map key features: Origin: The map's center of origin is in East Africa, where many L3 subclades are still found today. Intra-African distribution: L3 is more frequent in sub-Saharan Africa than in North Africa, and its subclades have distinct geographic distributions within the continent. Migration out of Africa: A major branching event from L3 created the M and N macrohaplogroups, which dispersed out of Africa and are now found globally. Back-migrations: Some branches of L3, such as U6 and M1, later migrated back into Africa, with their presence visible in North Africa and the Middle East. Other branches: Other L3 subclades, like L3f and L3b, show different migration patterns within and out of Africa, spreading through the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.

How can I get an ibd test done? I’m trying to look up my lineage through my fathers line first but I’m coming up to a dead end because he was said to be born in Georgia but I can’t find any record of him being born there. And we don’t know who his father is at least I don’t and my family on his side isn’t giving me any real information. Any help one where to start on this journey? I’m thinking someone came and used our name to claim land. There’s a huge “plantation” with my family name and it was said to have “slaves” that “inherited” the last name but it’s not sitting right with my spirit. My last name is render. I’ve done research and there are some renders that “came” from Europe a while back. Predominantly Ireland and Europe. Now I absentmindedly tattooed a four leaf clover on my arm waaaaay before I knew any of this info. Like back in 2013. I also have another tattoo on my chest but I’ll keep that one to myself for now. But both have well thought and researched meaning. Hopefully you read this. Any help on where to start?? 👀👀 I think an ancestor is guiding me to something. This is an extreme itch btw so PLEASE point me in the right direction? 🤞🏾🤞🏾😩

Just curious, when you tested did you have any P, M, and Q in your haplogroups?

because they arent the descendent of chattel slaves (L1, L2,L3) but free poc, the free biracial children of white women with african men. DNA is exposing what the "not all skinfolk are kinfolk" was saying all along. 5hey belong to freemasonry too.
