Call light going off in an empty room while a code is going on, on the same night I walked into that same room at the start of the night because it was empty but I saw someone walk in (I was only a nurse for 2 years in a hospital that was only 15 years old) not the scariest story but it was still pretty freaky.

Nightshift nurse here. I was in my comfort care patients room when I saw a man all in black standing in the doorway. I sat next to her and held her hand. She died a couple minutes later. I am convinced the man in the doorway was Death coming for her.

I lost my baby and went for an emergency surgery, there was this one nurse who used to come sit with me just to cheer me up every night, I always thought she’s on night duty. The night before I was discharged I wondered where she was and asked another nurse about her, I described her to the other nurse, you could she just got shooked a bit but didn’t say anything to me, until the next morning when I was about to leave the hospital then they told me she passed away a few weeks ago

Awoke from surgery alone and my father who had been dead for a few years was sitting watching me and told me to go back. I awoke for real then with the medical staff reviving me.

I once had fibroids and was hospitalized for surgery. On the day of the operation, a nurse woke me up around 4 am. We chatted for a bit, and she encouraged me not to worry, assuring me that nothing bad would happen. She then asked for my file, which I gave her. She told me that another nurse would come to fetch me and that I’d find my file at the theatre, then she left. A few minutes later, another nurse came to take me to the theatre and asked for my file. I explained that another nurse had already come earlier and taken it. When we got to the theatre, my file was nowhere to be found. They called everyone who was supposed to be on duty that morning, but the nurse who had taken my file wasn’t there. When I described her, everyone looked puzzled and started mumbling. I was then sent back to the radiographer for another scan before the operation could proceed. The new results showed that I had no fibroids at all. I was discharged two days later. Later on, I learned that the nurse who had taken my file had passed away long before that day she used to work there. I’m forever grateful to that ghost nurse.

dementia patient refused to be changed because of the little boy next to her bed, told her there was no little boy and then something hit the wall on that side of the bed 😭 okay I'll come back later 😭😭
