It’s a pagan tradition, pumpkins scaring away the spirits entering your house. But instead you have people dressing inappropriately and people doing stuff they shouldn’t be.. mate I genuinely dislike Halloween so much. Like it’s not safe anyway

Hate the fact we are just copying the Yanks. It has absolutely no history in this country. You don't read about Queen Victotria putting a deformed pumpkin outside the palace and handing out sweets. Bring back Guy Fawkes an actual tradition.

It’s a state of mind I carried on from great childhood ones to now at 53 yrs of age😂i three Big house parties from 2112 to 2020,and this last one went to the pub as Ozzy & had the time of my life,it’s the smells,the films,the build up…..Fucking hate Fireworks night,now that is pointless 👍

I do a "Harvest Festival" type celebration on Halloween instead of doing typical Halloween celebrations. This way I can celebrate autumn without all the tacky and spooky bits I don't like

It was turnips originally, carve faces into them to ward off spirits. Pumpkins were easier to get in America so just went from there 👍
