@iknowforrest: Most people don’t fail their “meal plan.”
They fail BECAUSE it’s a meal plan. Rigid, complicated, full of foods you don’t even like, that’s a recipe for burnout, not consistency. Here’s the fix: build a repeatable system, not a perfect plan. Pick your proteins, carbs, and veggies from a small list of things you actually enjoy. You don’t have to pick the ones I listed, that was just to get your brain going. Then repeat those combos until you get bored, and only then swap one or two ingredients. That’s it. You’ll start to realize the real skill isn’t meal prep, it’s decision simplification.
The fewer choices you have to make, the easier it is to stay consistent. If you like variety, rotate how you cook them. Same ingredients, different flavor. * Chicken + rice + broccoli + G Hughes Terriyaki→ teriyaki bowl * Ground beef + potato + green beans + Cholula + Bolthouse cilantro avocado sauce → taco bowl * Salmon + sweet potato + asparagus + Primal kitchen yum yum sauce → garlic butter bake Keep sauces simple. Track roughly, not obsessively. (But track obsessively if you want the best results)
And understand: consistency beats variety until consistency is easy. You don’t need 20 recipes. You need a rhythm.
When your meals are repeatable, your results are too. Save this for when you’re “tired of meal prepping.” Because this isn’t meal prep.
It’s auto-pilot nutrition for people who want to actually live their lives.

I mean, YES, but hear me out, people want their food to be fun so they make it complicated.
