Dentist here. Doesn’t look like a mucocele. Looks more like a fibroma which is totally benign. I wouldn’t worry too much about this. Hope that eases your mind some. Big hugs mama!

My daughter had something similar on her tongue when she was born. A little smaller, turned out to be nothing, just extra flesh on the tongue. Did not grow. She still has it

I had a sweaty little baby also! Always good to check it all out, but mine was just hot natured - felt like holding a hot water bottle. My mom was constantly checking his temperature to make sure he didn’t have a fever. He’s 24 now and still hot natured!

My son had a cyst under his tongue when he was born. It eventually popped and went away on its own and there were no further issues.

My baby at 16 got one on the side of his tongue - at first it was thought to be a clogged salivary duct . After a 2nd opinion - it was found to be a fibroma - 15 min with the best oral surgeon, laser removal, pathology report coming back with my prayers being answered . Just a fibroma ❤️prayers to you all ❤️❤️❤

If its a mucocele, my daughter had one from about 2 months to 8 months when we had it removed by an ent. The procedure was so quick I didn’t even have time to finish a cup of coffee before she was done and in recovery 🙌🏽
