This concept that they hate us is so misguided. They want people who have bothered to learn their language and actually take the time to understand some of their cultural references. It’s about respect. They believe there’s a baseline to earn it. I live in Paris too and while of course there are challenges (there always are moving anywhere), people have been very nice and very welcoming because I took the time to learn French. Sorry my guy but if you want to be part of this culture, you have to put in some effort on your end. They’re not asking for a lot. It’s their home not our playground

I feel like universities usually help foreign students find internships! My friend got a masters in Italy and they matched her to a company! Maybe try talking to an advisor or program coordinator and see if they have suggestions? Sending you so much luck x

yesss they are like that, they hate you if you are not speaking French :) and they have people studying in English but no English. I also live in Paris, I feel you, people are way nicer when tou speak French but I agree it is impossible to land a normal job without French
