If Lucas liked Peyton first, then he should’ve told Peyton about his feelings for her. Later, when Brooke asked Peyton, “Hey, do you like Lucas?”, Peyton said no. So, if Peyton wasn’t honest with Brooke her best friend about her feelings for a guy that Brooke was potentially interested in, then that’s on Peyton. If Peyton didn’t give Brooke a clear answer, then Brooke had every right to go after Lucas.

Season 1, they shouldve been together but Peyton declined even after Brucas was done. But Brooke asked Peyton permission to date him and Peyton told her multiple times that she didn’t want him anymore. As for S3, Peyton will never get a pass for kissing lucas in season 3. I would never do that to my bestfriend, no matter what. Idc that she thought she was gonna 💀.

Exactly! Like, Lucas and Peyton were definitely wrong, but Brooke moved crazy too. Even in Season 3, when she sent Peyton to talk to Lucas for her, she literally said, “You’re good with Lucas.” Girl, bye! Brooke always knew they had a special connection and didn’t mind using it when it benefited her. Then she always played the victim when she felt threatened. She didn’t deserve the cheating, but she enabled that mess way too much for me to see her as a true victim imo.
