Just a thought, but why wouldn’t we have flushed that engine really good then filled it. New oil and new coolant start it. Let it run. See if it mixed coolant with the oil again maybe he never cleaned it after the head gasket.

he pulled the head put a new one on it never added coolant so he never changed the oil. that didn’t get that way after he did the work it was still like that from before the repair!

Who is paying for this tear down ? He said he wanted a new motor .so stop wasting time tearing it down and just put the new engine in it and get his truck back to him .i hope he isn’t stuck paying a labor bill on them tearing down the motor he doesn’t want in his truck .

owner did a good job replacing the hard gasket, just got frustrated and never double checked everything. He just needed to drain oil then add new oil w/motor flush then change the oil again. Easily could have went another 300K miles.

what's the point and wasting the time and money to tear the old motor down if the customer wants to replace it anyways. I'm sure the customer got charged labor for tear down for no reason. who cares why or what failed if he's getting a new engine. put the new motor in get the customer their truck back

You know, the part, I don't understand the guy wants a new motor there's a ton of miles on it.And maybe those cummings do last, you know, over a million miles, but he said he wants a new motor put in it.Why don't they just do that?That's what I would do obviously the man's got a lot of money cuz.He had it shipped to dave's auto.That's got to cause some serious dough.Then, he's got to have it shipped back, put a new motor in it.And stop wasting time.Of course.Dave's auto will put this motor back together.Fix any issues and then sell it as a used motor hey, whatever
