Dwight 67 :
Hey Blazer and Ray,
Lately, I’ve been thinking about those nights we used to stay up way too late, running 5-stacks on Siege like we had nowhere else to be and nothing else to worry about. It’s strange how something so simple — just a few of us sitting in a lobby, joking around, raging, laughing — could mean so much.
I miss those nights more than I expected to. I miss the random inside jokes that didn’t make sense to anyone else, the dumb plays that somehow worked, the moments where we’d be half-asleep but still queue up for “one more game.” There was a kind of comfort in it — knowing you guys would be there, mic crackling, energy drinks on standby, just trying to make the night last a little longer.
Now, things feel quieter. We’ve all got our own stuff going on, and it’s like the world moved on without asking. I still catch myself scrolling through my friends list, hoping to see you both online, ready to squad up like old times. But it’s different now — schedules, life, everything — and I get it. Still hurts a little, though.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that I miss those nights, and I miss us — not just as teammates, but as friends who found something special in those hours that blurred into morning. I hope wherever you both are, you’re doing good. But a part of me will always wish we could go back, just one more time, and load into Siege like nothing ever changed.
