We get a call at 2:30 in the morning from the nursing home I’m saying my dad has passed away and we hurried up behind my mother dead, and got up to the nursing home. We ran into my dad‘s room. They had his head covered up with a sheet my mother thought she heard my dad take a deep breath so she pulled back the sheet and my dad was still breathing, my mother and I both was very upset. She was already fill out paperwork and down the hall and she asked us swipe funeral home. My mother says not none says he still breathing. She said no he’s not. I was just in there. My mother said you better go back in there and take his vitals again.

I'm just wondering how they didn't feel the eye caps? Or the closing of the mouth?? That's my job, getting them ready for their viewing so...I have so many questions😳 I get the case of them waking up a few hrs later...but to make it all the way to the casket!???

i'm pretty sure the embalming process has an effect on that so unless you're Jewish or going for a green burial, I think you're good
