I’m on the other side of it now. We paid off $92k in a year using lots of overtime. It was so exhausting but we did it. You can too! Keep going!!!

I like your approach to this. I follow several people doing debt pay off and love supporting through engagement. I see other people trying to do this journey that just seem to be “begging” for lack of better words, but I like your accountability here! Excited to see where this leads for you!

Pay it down girl. Minimize shopping and spending. Work with less and get rid of the cards until after all go to zero.

what's most embarrassing for me is realizing that I could've literally just paid cash😂 like what girl. I could've waited and saved up but noooo I had to keep swiping and then not pay it off. it's such common sense to just pay cash. can't believe i put myself in the matrix lol so nice to be awakened🥰 you got this!

We’re in the same boat.. so much shame. We should have done things differently. Now we’re in a tough spot and we do NOT want our kids to feel the effect. They didn’t deserve our mess. Best of luck!

We paid off over 80 K in just under two years. You have to get strict with yourself. There is no going out to eat, no going to the movies, there is nothing extra but the necessities. It'll seem hard, but it's only for a couple of years. And then you will have the freedom to do as you wish. If possible, pick up side hustles or second jobs. Sell things from around the house, things you don't need or use anymore. Find free activities. Take walks, go on picnics, do nature, scavenger, hunts, sledding, whatever you can figure out that doesn't cost anything. I'm guessing your kids are younger. You're going to feel bad and think that they're missing out on things. But they're not and they will never remember. What they will remember is their mom and dad being in a place financially someday where they can do the fun things.
