Another fun fact about Pegasus: his speech pattern actually makes a bit more sense in the context of the manga and sub. He’s American and mixes in English words into his Japanese dialogue, including using the English pronoun instead of the Japanese honorific pronoun, i.e. Yugi-boy instead of Yugi-kun, which while they mean similar things, are not supposed to be interchangeable like he uses them. In English it just makes him sound insufferably condescending but that isn't the intent. In the manga/sub he's actually just a super polite foreigner who at least attempts to speak Japanese because his opponent is Japanese.

In hindsight I'm not 100% sure his plan was very thought through, like having the powers of the millennium items all together would make him able to read minds, destroy them, invade/lock them away, control people, detect things, see the past and future, and judge people....none of that implies resurrection? Like at best the necklace might help him see the future to invent time travel.
