Am I the only one who is never heard of Beau Monde seasoning? I’m 58, and I cook a lot. Never heard of it. 🤷🏼♂️

Add fresh dill to it and scoop out a pumpernickel bread bowl and put the dip in it and tear the extra into pieces for dipping and then tear the bowl apart and eat it all! That’s what beau monde seasoning went around back in the 90’s! So good I had to stop eating it as I would pretty much polish it off!

Beau Monde seasoning can be difficult to find but I put that in every pasta salad I make. Without it, something is just missing. That and sumac on marinated bean salads are probably my only secret ingredients because I know I’m the only one using them.

This looks like the base of chipped beef dip. Get dried beef and cut into tiny pieces - add to this base (minus the accent) and once chilled - put in pumpernickel bread bowl and serve with the cubed pumpernickel bread.
