Unfortunately, 60% of the people on SNAP are illegal aliens. They should not be receiving any benefits at all. Out of the other 40%, at least 15-20% are abusing the system. I feel bad for the 30-35% who actually need that assistance.

My husband works for TSA for no money right now and we are now going on our 3rd missing paycheck, (get paid every 2 weeks). We have heard democrats say that we (the people) are the only leverage they have. That is disgusting behavior and if it was their paychecks being held this NEVER would have happened 😤 😢

This isn’t exactly true. Now you can disagree with the Democrats and what they believe but their stance is certainly about getting the affordable care act extensions. They are using this as leverage to get that passed. Now, I do agree that we are expendable pawns in their political games so that’s infuriating. I think wood is gonna hurt. Republicans is the money to Argentina during this time. Or the money spent elsewhere during this time.

Florida isn’t going to receive SNAP benefits, 3 million Floridians 1.5 million being children. The kicker is Florida DEMOCRATS are calling on Governor Ron DeSantis to declare a state of emergency to potentially use state funds to help with food insecurity. 🙄
