Parvo can be fatal bc the dog actually dies from dehydration and starvation. Pedialyte in a turkey baster down the throat, rice & chicken blended together in a syringe straight down the throat. It’s hard work but they can survive. Good luck

My dog had Pavo and the vet said that she would not make it through the night. Every 30 minutes for about three days straight we gave her Pedialyte and water in a syringe. Little at a time so she could keep it down. We went back-and-forth and we didn’t sleep. We worked her up to rice and chicken and took her back to the vet a couple weeks later and he couldn’t believe that it was the same dog and now she’s turning nine years old. She’s a big German shepherd husky.

Either she came with it or she got in contact with it in the halls or if you took her literally anywhere else where a dog has been. Puppies need to be severely quarantined until all rounds have been given. I’m so sorry this is happening. I hope both of you get better soon!

My baby girl had parvo when we adopted her, she made it through after a few days at the vet (and a fat bill but obv worth it). She ended up living until she was almost 15 and she was a pretty big dog. I’m sure Milli will be okay❤️❤

no she has blood in her stool already it's not good. she is small and it's hard for bigger dogs to survive this so know that she might not make it but I had a long-haired Chihuahua that had parvo and I caught it early enough and he lived I'll be sending prayers your way

parvo is super serious. if your other dogs are not properly vaccinated they can get it. da2pp covers the parvo virus. parvo is very contagious, you can carry it on your shoes into a "bar" "gas station" and other people can pick it up on their shoes and bring it to their home. do research on disinfecting. keep the dog hydrated. weakness, extreme lethargy, pale gums are a few key sings to look for in emergency situations. parvo has a very distinctive smell to it. a smell you have probably not experienced. it is crucial when you bring your dog to the vet you give them a heads up you think they have parvo. there is a strict protocol they have to follow.
