Before I was diagnosed with autism, I used to do this all the time and my teachers always told me to stop, but I always liked when my hair smacked my face I don’t know why, but I still do it sometimes-but now I’m diagnosed. This could be a sign, but I don’t know. I’m not a doctor.

Our little boy is 9 months old and has started shaking his head in the same way, about 3–4 times a day. How often did your baby do it? He shakes his head but doesn’t look to the sides — mostly when he’s in the high chair.

My 1 year old sees me shaking my head and copies it to say it back but i catch doing it sometimes randomly hopefully it’s her just practicing a new skill

Eye tracking too, that’s how I knew my baby had autism, just a gut feeling. He’s now 4 💜

I don’t want to think too much into it has my girls still young but she does this but up and down not side to side ? seems when she’s happy and when she eats food maybe she gets too exited and this is how she expresses it not sure my health visitor had no concerns 🤷🏼♀️xxx

My son has been doing this for the past 2-3 weeks, but he moves his arms side to side with his head. He turns 1 in a week and I genuinely don’t know if it’s his eczema is bothering him or if it’s something else!!
