As a truck user who uses trucks for truck stuff, i’d never leave the tow hardware if not in use. If left it’s GONNA get me in the shins when i’m doing non-towing truck stuff.

if you don't use your tow hitch more than once every 2 years, you don't need a truck. and you can't tell me its to haul stuff. because a van is better at hauling things in a bed than a truck is

I've never owned a truck. how difficult are tow hitches to remove? how expensive are they? I'd imagine that if they're easy to remove and they get stolen often enough, people will keep them in the truck when they're not using them.

The amount of MASSIVE trucks in my apartment community that are used by frat dudes not doing anything with it that take up space in the already small streets annoys me so much. The fact that smaller trucks typically have smaller beds that are better cause their shorter but people STILL want bigger cars is insane. I love my small car

regular cars/suvs are also getting huge. i’ve had to pull completely forward in parking lots and just prayed nothing was coming. if i stayed where i was, i wouldn’t have been able to see anything at all

Took my years to finally convince my dad to take the hitch off of his truck. He uses it only a handful of times a year and I used that in my argument. Now I don’t feel like I’m going to run my car into the hitch

My truck is a crew cab long box 1 tonne. Thats a sub compact compared to mine, I don't live in town so I don't care. I need capacity and towing abilities.

They’re this big because of the EPA regulations, that’s the reason why we don’t have the classic Ford Ranger sized trucks driving around. Not the automakers fault🤦♂️
