@chrisketola: “Capturing a toucan is always a special moment. In fact, this is only the second White-throated Toucan we’ve ever captured! The very first one caught by Fauna Forever was actually back in 2017 — during my very first internship with the team. Needless to say, handling a bird this large is quite a challenge (my hand can confirm that 😅). But it’s also a rare opportunity to collect valuable morphological data for the species.
