Add your favorite hardwood such as hickory, apple, or cherry wood. 9. Smoke for approximately 3–4 hours, spritzing occasionally with chicken broth to keep the meat moist. 10. When the internal temperature reaches 150°F (66°C), brush the turkey breast with melted butter. 11. Continue smoking until the thickest part reaches 165°F (74°C). 12. Remove the turkey breast from the smoker and tent loosely with foil. 13. Let it rest for at least 20 minutes to retain its juices. 14. Slice against the grain into thick, juicy portions. 15.
