I mean original halo, just the games, 2001-2007 sure. because the books and games are more about a "Humanity first, let's use child soldiers to win" approach, but 2009 onwards and the Karen Travis novels it starts to explore the themes of colonialism and the negative repercussions of that, and stops framing chief as a hero but a victim/sociopath
