@chefsquickfix: Kiwi-Tenderized Fried Steak — Softer
Than Tofu!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Marinate Time: 40 minutes
Cook Time: 6–8 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients
● 300 g (10 oz) beef steak (sirloin or flank)
● ½ ripe peach (or 1 kiwi, optional)
● 1 tsp soy sauce
● ½ tsp sea salt
● ¼ tsp black pepper (plus more for garnish)
● 1 tsp minced green onion
● 1 tsp minced ginger
● 1 tbsp cooking oil (for frying)
Recipe Steps
1️⃣Tenderize the Beef
Cut the beef steak into small cubes or thin strips.
Mash ½ a peach (or kiwi) and mix it into the beef — the enzymes will tenderize it
beautifully. ⃣Marinate
Add soy sauce, sea salt, black pepper, green onion, and ginger.
Mix well and marinate for 40 minutes in the fridge.
3️⃣Fry the Steak
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
Add the marinated beef and pan-fry over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, or until
cooked to your preferred doneness.
4️⃣Finish and Serve
Sprinkle a little more black pepper on top.
Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or grilled vegetables.
The beef will be unbelievably soft — tender than tofu and packed with flavor! #airfryerrecipes #beefsteak #steakrecipe #DinnerIdeas #mealprep
