Hear me out… he looks like a door to door salesperson..it’s a screen door, most open that to knock on the actual door. He looks like he is carrying a small flashlight which he then uses to tap on the door.

Cop for 21yrs, gotta be first “suspect” I’ve seen walk up to front door with porch light on, look at the camera, then knocks in that manner with a sharpie or pen before walking away 👀. Also seems he is attempting to open storm door to knock on the front door, probably to be heard more clearly 🤷🏻♂️.
