Some of this actually depends on the species of the animal, for spiders, the most venomous spiders can flatline you, also Komodo dragons can kill you in 1 bite cuz of their venom, the bite wound won't stop bleeding and won't heal, and can make the wound worse from tissue necrosis, which is basically Scarlet Rot, and if you loose 40% of your blood, you're dead, so unless you have medics on hand to cut off the infected limb, you're dead, and I doubt you would on Komodo island if you go alone and even if you do have medics, I doubt there's a cure for the remaining venom in your system, and there's always the risk they end up just like you, so depending on the situation for the Komodo Dragon, 1 bite is all it takes to kill

No, a single tsetse fly bite will not immediately kill a human, but it can be fatal if the bite transmits the parasite that causes African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness) and the disease is left untreated. The parasite, Trypanosoma, causes debilitating neurological symptoms that eventually lead to a coma and death.
