Our pediatrician said to our daughter before checking her diaper "I'm going to check in your diaper but only because I am your doctor and mommy and daddy are here" I was like yes pop off ma'am even tho my daughter had no clue what she was talking about but it's important to introduce being safe with our bodies early.

I taught my son correct anatomy and his preschool called me in this office one day and told me he couldnt be saying that. Excuse me? Yes he can….we aren’t calling it Mr. Woody 🤨🤨 I told her I’m a nurse and I’m not sugar coating my language for their comfort when I know the statistics.

My son’s doctor had someone doing clinical / training with him. My son was like 6ish at the time. His doctor asked him if it was okay, for him to check his genital area. To make sure everything was okay. My son said “ YOU can, but not him. I don’t know him”. 😂 His doctor was so proud 😂🩵

My BIL was arguing with me over child SA from Family n he was arguing it doesn’t happen and that it’s a skewed statistic bc you spend more time with family so it’s an unfair statistic and was not happy I won’t leave my child alone with anyone until she can speak… made me look at him sideways

We don’t have secrets in our family. None. We call body parts by their correct names. My kids are allowed to deny anyone a hug or physical affection. My parents didn’t love these boundaries because it went against the norm, but now they’re on board 100%.
