I would not recommend it because the key half the time doesn’t work if you don’t have a second Apple device, you lost everything

I had it on when someone stole my phone I tried to login to my account. and put the key I didn’t want it. So I have to go through my iPad and turn that feature off and then I got everything back.

I understand the good intentions of doing it but then would you not lose access to tracking your phone if someone steals it? Your phone needs to have the IP on so that it could be tracked.
