So was the entire system drilled into the walls inside the closet? Or a large empty wardrobe space “dropped in” and then things attached to that?

This is when you bring the closet outside the closet ! Look at the wardrobes at ikea they’re about $200! If you have space in your room to move things around /take out anything unnecessary it is a LIFESAVER
