ÂME DE FLEUR — LIQUIDES IMAGINAIRES 🌸 A name that, all by itself, evokes something delicate, enigmatic, and deeply feminine: Âme de Fleur, the soul of a flower. But behind this fragrance lies much more than a simple floral bouquet. Its inspiration comes from the myth of Aphrodite and Adonis and from the anemone, a flower that Liquides Imaginaires associates with eternal love, desire, and metamorphosis. According to the myth, the anemone was born from Aphrodite’s tears after the death of Adonis. The anemone is a herbaceous plant belonging to the Ranunculaceae family, delicate in appearance yet surprisingly sensitive to its surroundings. Its flowers can open in the light and close when conditions become less favourable, giving the flower an almost “reactive” quality and adding to its mysterious allure. And there is one particularly fascinating detail: the anemone has no fragrance. This is why you won’t find it listed among the olfactory notes of Âme de Fleur. The fragrance doesn’t attempt to literally recreate its scent, but rather interprets its soul, symbolism, and imagery through a luminous bouquet of white flowers. This story is accompanied by a beautiful quote from Guillaume Apollinaire, taken from Clotilde, published in the collection Alcools in 1913: “The anemone and the columbine have grown in the garden where melancholy sleeps between love and disdain.” A line that seems to perfectly capture the world of Âme de Fleur: beauty and melancholy, desire and delicacy, light and depth. The composition opens with green pear, rose, heliotrope accord, and mate absolute. At the heart, tuberose and jasmine sambac intertwine with a solar accord and saffron, creating a luminous yet narcotic white-floral heart. In the dry-down, cashmere wood, Ambrox Super, Clearwood, and Z11 bring structure and depth, surrounding the flowers with a contemporary woody base. A luminous yet carnal white-floral bouquet, where tuberose emerges in all its creamy, sensual intensity, wrapped in the radiance of jasmine and the warm depth of the base. And perhaps this is exactly what makes Âme de Fleur so fascinating: a flower born from pain, transformed into perfume. 🌸 Have you ever smelled this fragrance?
